Shipping Time & Charge
With customers all around the world, we are happy to send our scarves anywhere in Canada, US, Europe, Australia and Asia.
If you’re having trouble finalizing you order, it may be due to an issue with our shipping provider. If so, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.
While we always dispatch orders within two business days, we can’t directly control delivery times, especially concerning customs clearance.
All Canada & U.S. packages are shipped either by:
Canada Post Expedited service – 3 to 5 business days (free)
UPS Standard – 1 to 4 business days (15$)
For international shipments please allow for 1-2 weeks for delivery as delivery times vary greatly depending on customs clearance. Please note that parcel tracking is currently unavailable for international orders.
Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number (Canada & U.S.).
Customs Clearance, Tax & VAT
Please note that customs clearance is different in every country and that there may be additional charges, tariffs and brokerage fees incurred on your order.
String Theory is not liable for additional charges. As customs policies and import duties vary from country to country, String Theory cannot estimate or confirm what the fees would be. To avoid unforeseen charges, we recommend contacting your local customs office for information on fees before placing your order.
We want all our customers to receive a high quality item that they will love and enjoy. All items purchased on our site, unless clearly labeled otherwise can be returned for up to 30 days after purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, or if the scarf or shawl is faulty or flawed, no worries – get in touch with us via our return form and we’ll sort out an exchange or refund straight away.
When we receive the item, we will refund the value of the piece excluding original freight charges.
If an exchange is necessary for a different size, style or color we would be happy to issue a refund, but would request that you purchase the desired item through the website as a separate transaction. Simply Initiate your exchange here.
Note that discounted items are final sale.
We want to make the return process as easy as possible for you. When returning the item to us, please include your full name, billing/shipping address, order number and email address. If you’re exchanging your purchase for a new item, please let us know the new item you would like–style, size and color.

How are refunds processed?
We will credit the same credit card or paypal account from which the original purchase was made when your return is received. The return will be processed as soon as possible, but please allow up to two billing cycles for the return to appear on your credit card statement.
